April is Computer Roundup Month! All month long, beginning April 1, 2023, Computer Roundup will be taking place through the Highland Heights Service Department. This is an environmentally friendly means of disposal for end-of-life electronic equipment.
Items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. through April 30, 2023.
Here is a list of what is considered acceptable for recycling:
Computers - desktops, laptops, and towers
Tablets - IPads, Kindles, Nooks
Computer Monitors - LCD's and CRT's
Computer Components - Hard Drives, Circuit Boards, Power Supplies, CD-ROM Drives
Computer Peripherals - Keyboards, Mice, USB Drives, Speakers, Cables, and Cords
Printers - Laser and Ink Jet, Photo, All In One's, Toner and Ink Cartridges
General Office Equipment - Scanners, Fax Machines, Paper Shredders
Telecom Equipment - Phone Systems, PBX Systems
Networking Equipment - Switches, Hubs, Routers, Modems, Wireless Equipment
Phones - Cell Phones, Smart Phones, Office/House Phones
Video Games - PS3, Wii, Xbox
Stereo Equipment - DVD Players, Blu Ray, VCR's, Receivers, Record Players, Radios
Batteries - Battery Back-Up Devices, Disposable, Rechargeable, Electronic
Accessory Cables/Manuals - Wire, Cords, Power Adapters, Chargers
Other acceptable items - Microwaves, remotes, Cameras, Software, Tape Drives
