Per Euclid’s Charter, every eight years we are required to appoint a Charter Review Commission who reviews the Charter and makes recommendations to Euclid City Council of any suggested changes to the Charter.
It is that time to seat another Charter Review Commission. The Commission shall be appointed within 30 days after Election Day which is November 8, 2022. The Mayor appoints 5 members and Euclid City Council appoints 4 members. The Commission will meet starting in January 2023, once a month on the second Thursday of the month starting at 6:30 p.m. The Commission will meet for no longer than 2 years or until the Commission determines their review is complete. Commission members are compensated $50/meeting.
If you are interested in serving on the Charter Review Commission, please complete the application and attach a resume.
Application deadline is October 21, 2022.
