Middle School Students Screen Films at Festival, September 17

The Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival will be screening films made by six CH-UH middle school students on Saturday, September 17, 2022. The student films, which were made with Heights Middle School Shorts (HMSS), will run from 1:10 p.m. - 3:10 p.m. in Theater 3 at Atlas Shaker Square (13116 Shaker Square, Cleveland, OH 44120). The screenings will be followed by a panel discussion featuring the filmmakers talking about their journeys from ideas to screenplays to finished films. This free community event will be moderated by Cynthia Booker, Heights High Digital Video Production teacher and two-time Emmy Award-winning journalist who dropped into Heights Middle School Shorts this summer to give campers a hands-on filming experience.
