Shaker Heights median home prices rose by 19.4% in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Shaker Heights rose by $46,500 while total sales decreased by 60.7 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 24 homes sold, with a median sale price of $286,500 - a 19.4 percent increase over the $240,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 61 homes sold in Shaker Heights in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 2.9 percent of the median home sale price for April.
