Of the 2,142 people living in Gates Mills in 2020, 47.7 percent (1,021) were women and 52.3 percent (1,121) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the East Cleveland News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 20. In the 65 and over age range, there were 286 females and 316 males.
