Heights High Students Place in DECA Competition

Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District recently issued the following announcement.

Heights High's freshman Ian Bandy-Zalatoris and senior Faith Griffin-Hodge competed in the 2022 DECA Competition. They competed in the areas of Personal Financial Literacy 

and Entrepreneurship. With hard work and dedication, both Ian and Faith advanced to the final round.

Additionally, Ian competed at the District DECA level and placed 1st.  At the end of April, Faith will be attending the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, 

Georgia.  As part of the Cleveland Heights. DECA AT&T Aspire Mentoring Grant, most student expenses will be paid. 

DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
