Home prices increased in Shaker Heights during the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Shaker Heights rose by $20,600 while total sales decreased by 16.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 240 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,600 - a 9.8% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 286 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 3.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
