The fourth quarter of 2021: Shaker Heights experienced a 6.3% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Shaker Heights fell by $13,500 while total sales decreased by 10.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were 107 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 6.3% decrease over the $213,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 119 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 4.2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
