Mayfield median home prices rose by 14.5% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Mayfield rose by $35,750 while total sales increased by 15%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $282,000 - a 14.5% increase over the $246,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Mayfield in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Mayfield for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,894, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
