Median home prices in Shaker Heights rose to $210,000 in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Shaker Heights rose by $30,000 while total sales increased by 1.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 286 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 16.7% increase over the $180,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 281 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 4% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
