Home prices increased in Shaker Heights during the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Shaker Heights rose by $47,075 while total sales increased by 11.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 119 homes sold, with a median sale price of $213,500 - a 28.3% increase over the $166,425 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 107 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $8,387, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
