Shaker Heights home prices rise in May 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2018 in Shaker Heights rose by $13,500 while total sales increased by 121.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2018, there were 82 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,500 - a 7.7% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 37 homes sold in Shaker Heights in May 2017.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $8,232, approximately 4.4% of the median home sale price for May 2018.
