Shaker Heights home prices rise in December 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2018 in Shaker Heights rose by $35,000 while total sales increased by 8.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2018, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $210,000 - a 20% increase over the $175,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 49 homes sold in Shaker Heights in December 2017.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $8,232, approximately 3.9% of the median home sale price for December 2018.
