Shaker Heights home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Shaker Heights fell by $9,400 while total sales increased by 62.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were 190 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 5% decrease over the $189,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 117 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $8,232, approximately 4.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2017.
