Mayfield home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Mayfield rose by $94,900 while total sales decreased by 33.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 48.6% increase over the $195,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Mayfield in the fourth quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Mayfield for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,906, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2017.
