Shaker Heights home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Shaker Heights fell by $875 while total sales increased by 50.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 220 homes sold, with a median sale price of $181,625 - a 0.5% decrease over the $182,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 146 homes sold in Shaker Heights in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Shaker Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $8,232, approximately 4.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
