Mayfield home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Mayfield fell by $72,000 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $183,000 - a 28.2% decrease over the $255,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mayfield in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Mayfield for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,906, approximately 3.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
